National Roll-out

Customer First UK Appoint New Chief Executive

Customer First UK Chief Executive, Keith Ramsay writes...

As we get in reaching distance of our 600th commitment to the Customer First Standard, I am delighted to announce that we are now present in all 4 countries of the UK. March has seen commitments by Swansea College in Wales and the Belfast Institute of Higher Education in Northern Ireland (BIFHE) – a fantastic welcome to both and particularly in the month of March which celebrates both Wales’s and Ireland’s national days!

Since January, we have held a significant number of events, particularly our continuing series of introductory seminars in Wigan, Jarrow, London,, Paignton and Letchworth - our thanks go to our customers, TEDCO, South Devon College and The Goldsmith Management Centre, and our partners CFA and CQL, who have facilitated and supported us in these events.

From April onwards, we have arranged workshops - on all stages of the Customer First journey - open to all committed organisations – please check for details on our website. If there’s not one suitable for your organisation, please contact our Events Manager, Morag Lehrle to discuss your requirements on morag.lehrle@customerfirst.org.

Finally, we say goodbye and thank you to our colleagues at Business Link for London, who have been instrumental in shaping Customer First's own journey since our inception. Although many of the individuals will still be around working for the new business support provider in the capital, SERCO, I would like to pay tribute and to wish good luck for the future to the Project Manager in London, Lucy Heggarty, the network managers - who have been great ambassadors for our cause and to all those personnel at BL4L who have played their part in our success.
