Prowess 4th Annual International Conference – Brighton February 7-8 2007

Customer First UK will be exibiting at this years Prowess Conference. We look forward to joining key players in business support, policy and practice at this highly interactive Conference to find out about topics such as the UK Women's Enterprise Task Force, the Gender Equality Duty and the Business Support Simplification Programme. We also look forward to engaging in lively debate and discussion, critical to shaping the women's enterprise agenda.

The line-up of speakers and workshop leaders includes: The Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MBE MP - Minister of State for Industry and the Regions; Mmabatho Matiwane - Head of Gender and Women's Empowerment Unit – Dept of Trade and Industry, South Africa; Pam Alexander - Chief Executive: SEEDA; Dr Katherine Rake - Director, The Fawcett Society; Vicky Pryce - Department of Trade and Industry’s Chief Economic Adviser; Polly Toynbee - journalist, author and social commentator and Lynne Franks - Chief Executive of SEED (Sustainable Enterprise and Empowerment Dynamics).

National and international delegates will meet to discuss all that is topical in the development of women's enterprise and this year we are focussing particularly on the communication and language of business support and how to sustain the market.
