Acquisition launches new era for Customer First
05/06/2008
Customer First UK which awards and promotes the national standard for customer service, has been acquired in a joint partnership between QED Professional Ltd and the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA), which has offices throughout the UK.
Both organisations have worked closely with the development and promotion of the Customer First Standard from its inception in 2000. Customer First UK general manager, Frea O'Brien, says: "We are confident that the combined experience, vision and passion of the NFEA and QED Professional Development will secure an exciting platform for future growth."
Customer First UK was sold by its founding owner Business Link York and North Yorkshire after a re-organisation of Yorkshire's Business Links. The Standard which has been achieved by businesses across 20 sectors, helps to give enterprises a new commercial edge by enabling them to enhance all aspects of their customer service.
NFEA chief executive, George Derbyshire, says: "Putting the Customer First has tremendous unrealised potential. We look forward to working with QED Professional Development to take Customer First UK to the next stage of its development."
QED Professional Development executive chairman, Steve Hinton, continues "We are completely committed to ensuring that Customer First UK continues to thrive and the Standard is properly supported as it moves into new sectors and territories."
